One of the freshest faces in the global Psytrance scene and also the only DJ so far to represent Ireland on an international level. He began to learn the craft of mixing 11 years ago using vinyl, planting his Dance Music roots in House and Techno, this has opened the door for a very versatile mixing style not often seen in Psytrance. Now using CDJs and incorporating several styles of mixing into each set, best performed on a DJM600 or 800. Beat mixing, key mixing, beat effects, build up mashing, sampling, cutting and freestyle crossfader work are a few of the tricks in his arsenal of deck wizardry added to a high energy performance with plenty of crowd interaction, mayhem and general lunacy.

Formerly part of an experimental DJ/Live act from Belfast called Slam Bigots, a project which launched his career where along side Gerry & John Gallagher they played in all the underground venues of the city. Now playing solo and a label DJ for Phantasm Records, Druid has played all over Ireland as a DJ including Life Festival, Electric Picnic, Planet Love, The Limelight, Ulster Hall, Red Box, Temple Bar Music Center, Jiggs and Riggs and many Neutronyx events as well as international gigs in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Peru, Brazil, Holland, Germany, UK, USA, Belgium and Norway.

Druid has been seen on line ups with the best in the scene including Infected Mushroom, Hallucinogen, Astrix, Psycraft, Eskimo, John Phantasm, Eat Static, John 00 Fleming, Broken Toy, Freq, D-Nox & Beckers, Dino Psararas, Talamasca to name a but small fraction.

Attending Glastonbury events with his parents from the tender age of 2, Gav is no stranger to the buzz of the festival community spirit. He bought his first set of Technics 1210's 14 years ago and gathered up an impressive collection of House and Trance which fills his room to this day. He ran a series of Illegal Raves in Barns and Warehouses in the Irish country side where he was resident for 7 years hosting House and Techno DJ's from all over the country and giving platforms to many young Irish DJ's.

Gav has served DJ residencies in Belfast for Bloop City and Future Beat club nights which seen his music tastes evolve mainly towards the Progressive end of Psychedelic Trance music while making the uneasy change over from turntables to CDJ's. This jock has an extremely seamless beat mixing technique which compliments the progressive style that comes so naturally to him, this is one up and coming DJ to watch out for.

Now a Dream Tunnel DJ, he enjoyed very much playing peak times slots at the Alien Island & Alien Warehouse in Northern Ireland, he has played at several Neutronyx events in Southern Ireland and also Alien Viking in Norway and Alien Meeting in Amsterdam. Gav has played along side the likes of Cosmosis, John 00 Fleming, Andromeda, Krueger & Coyle, Osysmyso, Eat Static, Eskimo, John Phantasm, Rinkadink and Chris Cargo.

Gav is now working on several production projects, including a co-prodution with Druid called Chamelion so watch this space
